Let’s Get Moving also requires an alternative move day to accommodate inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. That said, we will always do our best to prioritize the preferred moving day.

ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS ON THE TYPES OF ITEMS I CAN MOVE?
There are some things that your movers can’t move for you. Moving restricted items can have profound legal coincidences, so we always recommend checking which items are on the prohibited list and which ones you shouldn’t pack.
In short, if it requires special handling when being disposed of (gasoline, paint and paint thinners, fireworks), moving companies cannot put the item in their truck. However, you or a professional who handles such materials can move them separately.
