Our move was successful, everything arrived and was unharmed. The movers took great care with our things but they also took a lot of time to do it. When we called to book the move the sales agent estimated that it would take about 4 hours to complete. It took 13 hours … which is extremely far from the estimate. Not only did this mean that we went 3 times over the budget we expected to pay for the move but it also meant that the day was incredibly long and draining. We were moving within a short distance in the same city and the movers wrapped every single item as if it was going to be shipped overseas. And there was no sense of urgency. They were kind and respectful and I can’t say it’s their fault but there is clearly a miscommunication between the movers and the office on how long a move should take. All in all we are glad it’s done and appreciated having movers but I can’t say we would recommend this company again because it was way more expensive than anticipated.
